Rated as one of the top 3 events in London by the Guardian this week THE PLAYGROUND invites you to another unforgettable night of the coolest fusion of rock, electro and indie music on 5th March at popular stomping ground 93 Feet East.

>>THE BERETTAS – Headlining the event, the funky glam rockers also celebrate the launch of their new single. Having opened up for the likes of Babyshambles right to The Who these girls are a force to be reckoned with their unique music influences ranging from Blondie, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin to Tina Turner and Radiohead.

>>DEATH IN PLAINS – One-man electronic wunderkind Enrico Boccioletti is set to liberate the atmosphere at THE PLAYGROUND with his electro-dance tinged set. It’s been said that 5 seconds of his music will be enough to convert you (Eightysixkillers)

>>LO-STAR – This next generation rock band manage to play here before heading off to SXSW. Lo-Star have been working with legendary producer of The Police after they were sought out by him following rave reviews on BBC London and in The Sun, Sunday Mail and The Daily Star

>>IAN DeSYLVA – The psychedelic bluesmeister sounds like Lee Hazlewood playing the songs from Psycho Candy

>>MAFIA LIGHTS – These post-punk melody men have been featured on Huw Steven’s Radio 1 show and now offer THE PLAYGROUND their constant driving drums, lurching surf guitar, layered vocal harmonies, and urgent new-wave bass guitar: a heady combination indeed!

>>DEMONTRE - The Gloomy Londoners show off their trendy shoegaze sound
